Judge Tom Hendrick in his office in the old red stone courthouse, 1927. Many early Odessans
will remember the Judge and his car. Tom would never sit behind the stering wheel, but chose
to drive from the middle of the front seat. Each day he had to cross the railroad tracks to get
to the courthouse and it always took him several attempts to get enough power to get up and
over the tracks.
