The gentleman on the right is Reverend Gottleb Golder. If this was a work
party, the helpers seemed to be working more than the Reverend. His orchard
was in 200 block of North Lee Street. The Reverend occupied this address
from 1887 to 1890.
Six streets west of N. Grant we have a street named Golder. The Reverend's name is with us today. Reverend Golder cut quite a figure with that "top hat"!
